The Technoline Mobile Alerts MA10660 is a reliable wireless wind speed anemometer which is well contructed and small and light enough to be locted in any suitable location within approximately 100 metres (open air) of the included Mobile Alerts internet gateway. The wind meter is powered from its internal battery which is charged from the built-in solar panel, and measures gusts and wind speeds upto (50 m/s - 180 km/h - 112 mph - 97 knots) with a measuring interval of one rotation of the paddle wheel. Wind direction has a 22.5 degree resolution (16 directions)

 

One of the main features of the Mobile Alerts System is the real time anemometer sensor data which is available via the included gateway directly to the app on your mobile phone or tablet (iOS and Android).

The included gateway is mains powered (UK power supply included) and the gateway communicates via the internet directly to the Mobile Alerts cloud server by plugging into a spare port on your internet router (RJ45 ethernet cable included). Please note that the gateway must be physically (not wirelessly) connected to your router via the included (or similar) RJ45 cable.

 

The Mobile Alerts Gateway is very straightforward to setup and once configured it is then possible to receive alerts directly to your mobile phone (iOS and Android) for user specified wind directions, maximum wind speeds, gusts etc
