This great little tester is very simple to use

• If you need a tester for NiMH rechargeable batteries then this is the one. Don't waste your money on anything more elaborate. The reason why is simple. A NiMH battery outputs an almost constant 1.2V throughout it's entire discharge cycle as opposed to an alkaline battery, such as a Duracell, where the voltage gradually drops as the battery discharges. A NiMH battery is either at 1.2v  or if it's dropping below this it's about to fall over. There is simply no point paying for anything more sophisticated when testing rechargeable batteries.
