The Uniross 'AA to C' and 'AA to D' type battery converters are the perfect solution if you need to use 'C' or 'D' size batteries but you don't want to buy a charger specifically for the job. With these clever little battery converters you can use your AA batteries instead.
You can use any AA battery with these converters, either rechargeable or 'throwaway'. There is nothing technical about them, they do nothing to the voltage, you simply slide a AA battery into the converter and then as if by magic you have either a 'C' or 'D' size battery ready to go. (The voltage of a AA battery is the same for C and D size batteries)
